Stay informed on your website’s visitors without booting up an app and digging down to you stats by placing the stats right on your home screen!

Analytics Widget enables you to place your Google Analytics Data right on your home screen of your Android phone. As a beta release it shows the visitors or page views of today for a profile of your choice.

The default refresh time is currently set to 30min. To refresh manually just press the widget and it will start downloading the current values from the Google Server. The connection to the Google Server is SSL encrypted.

The design focus is on simplicity and functionality. I have developed this widget because I was looking for such an application but it did not exist at this time. So why not share it with the world? Even though I try hard to make it as reliable as possible please excuse possible bugs. If you want to comment on the application, give ideas or report bugs, feel free to drop me a mail!

The Future

In this blog article I wrote where I see Analytics Widget in the future:

“Soon I want to include more metrics, different time spans, different refresh frequencies and a more sophisticated way in presenting the data. Besides that I want to introduce  a “Lite” and a “Pro” version. The Lite version provides basic functionality free of charge whereas the “Pro” version includes more advanced features. By doing so I want to lay the foundations for constant development and improvement of Analytics Widget that aim at bringing high quality and more features to both the Lite and the Pro version.”

As soon as a first version of Analytics Widget Pro is available I will give it out for testing through the Facebook Page. So make sure you “like it“! ;)
